POPLine reported that Beyoncé drew 123,500 attendees across four September 2013 Brazil dates on The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, with a reported gross of US$10,410,950. The four-date tally excludes her Rock in Rio performance.

The figures below come from POPLine’s November 20, 2013 report, which attributed them to Billboard Boxscore. “Tickets stated available” refers to the allotments listed in that report, not independently verified venue capacities. Percentages are reproduced as reported.

POPLine’s contemporary report says the four dates could have drawn 170,000 people if all stated ticket allotments had sold. It describes the figures as paying attendees or tickets sold; it does not explain the Boxscore counting method or how the reported percentages were rounded.
Did Beyoncé sell out the Brazil concerts?
No. POPLine characterized none of the four dates as sold out. Brasília had the strongest reported sell-through at 90%, followed by Fortaleza at 69%, São Paulo at 74%, and Belo Horizonte at 55%. São Paulo had the largest crowd, while Belo Horizonte had the lowest reported sell-through.

Why did the city with fewer attendees report a higher gross?
Fortaleza’s reported gross of US$2,563,750 exceeded Brasília’s US$2,444,810, even though Fortaleza’s reported attendance was lower. Attendance and gross are different measures; POPLine does not provide a breakdown that explains the difference. Its report gives no exact São Paulo gross, only an approximate comparison with Brasília. These are historical reported amounts, not inflation-adjusted figures.

The total covers four tour dates and excludes Beyoncé’s Rock in Rio appearance on September 13, 2013. Billboard Brasil’s 2023 retrospective identifies that festival performance and places it in the context of The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. It is a separate appearance, not a fifth date in POPLine’s four-show tally.
