Its standout moments included her horseback entrance, Shaboozey and Post Malone joining for their respective songs, a large marching-band ensemble, and a rising-stage finale of “TEXAS HOLD ’EM.”
Why Beyoncé’s halftime show was a milestone
Beyoncé performed at halftime of the Houston Texans–Baltimore Ravens game on December 25, 2024, at Houston’s NRG Stadium, during Netflix’s first NFL Christmas Gameday. It was her first live performance of tracks from COWBOY CARTER, according to the Houston Texans and Netflix Tudum. Netflix identified Houston as the singer’s hometown and said Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment produced the performance.
The best moments, from entrance to finale
Beyoncé rode into the stadium
The opening image was Beyoncé arriving on a white horse. The Associated Press described the performance as nearly 13 minutes long, making the entrance a striking way to establish its western visual world before the music unfolded. The Associated Press’ report also places the show within Netflix’s Christmas Day NFL debut.
Shaboozey joined “SWEET⭐️HONEY⭐️BUCKIN’”
Shaboozey appeared for “SWEET⭐️HONEY⭐️BUCKIN’,” giving one of the album’s collaborations a live guest moment. The Texans’ performance recap identifies him with that song.

Post Malone joined “LEVII’S JEANS”
Post Malone came out for “LEVII’S JEANS.” The Texans’ account pairs him with the track, making the song-by-song answer clear: Shaboozey performed “SWEET⭐️HONEY⭐️BUCKIN’,” while Post Malone joined “LEVII’S JEANS.”
The show opened up into a large ensemble
The performance included Blue Ivy Carter, the Texans cheerleaders, and Texas Southern University’s Ocean of Soul Marching Band. Netflix reported that close to 200 band members took part. A live band, bleachers, a denim-wrapped truck, horses, and a floating stage added to the scale of the production, as CBS Sports’ review describes.

There is a small published-list discrepancy worth noting: Netflix’s recap also names “AMERIICAN REQUIEM,” while the Texans’ ten-track list does not. CBS Sports’ list is closer to the Texans’ inventory. These published accounts do not establish a single agreed complete list, so the ten songs above are specifically the Texans’ reported selection rather than a claim that every recap lists the same tracks.
