For authentic Coldplay concert merch, start with the band’s official US Music of the Spheres store or its UK store. The 2025 range includes tour T-shirts and a heart-logo hoodie. The viral “Coldplay jumbotron” meme sweatshirt is a separate matter: the available reporting documents the viral incident, not an official or licensed sweatshirt.

How to choose a tour shirt or hoodie
- Want a date-and-city keepsake? The Band Photo Tee has 2025 tour cities and dates printed on the back. Check the product images and description against your concert location.
- Prefer a simple graphic? The black tour shirt or Heart Logo Tee are listed options, though the cited store information does not specify their fabrics or fit.
- Want a warmer layer? The official US store lists a heart-logo hoodie. Check its product page for current fabric, sizing and availability.
- Shopping in the UK? The We Are All/One in the Universe tee is described as vintage-washed cotton. Do not assume that the UK and US stores carry identical items or prices.
For any listing, compare the exact design, sizing information, fabric details, delivery and return terms on the regional official store. A listing on a marketplace such as Amazon is not proof that the seller or item is authorized Coldplay merchandise; no individual marketplace listings or sellers are verified here.

Is the viral Coldplay meme sweatshirt official?
There is no verified evidence here that a sweatshirt bearing the “I took my sidepiece to the Coldplay concert and it ruined my life” meme phrase is official, licensed or currently available. Treat such apparel as third-party unless the seller’s identity and licensing can be independently established. A viral design or a search result is not proof of authorization.
What happened in the Coldplay jumbotron moment?
At a July 2025 Coldplay concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, Chris Martin’s “Jumbotron Song” crowdwork showed a couple on the stadium screen. The moment circulated online and the people were identified as Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and chief people officer Kristin Cabot. In contemporaneous reporting, Martin joked, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy”; that was a joke, not confirmation of the couple’s private circumstances. The Associated Press reported on July 25, 2025, that Cabot had resigned and Byron had quit after being put on leave pending an investigation. AP’s account of the incident and its report on the aftermath document the news event, not the authenticity of merchandise.

AP also reported that Luminate measured a 20% rise in Coldplay song streams in the days after the clip went viral. That figure concerns streaming, not merchandise sales or demand, and says nothing about whether a meme sweatshirt is official.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Was there an official Coldplay pop-up in 2025?
Yes. Coldplay announced a London pop-up at Coal Drops Yard during the Wembley concert run, with specified dates in 2025. The announcement said it would stock “fan-favorite tour items alongside the band’s music catalogue, plus brand-new, in-person exclusives.” This was a time-limited 2025 event; the announcement is not evidence that the shop remains open.
