The Barbie Signature collectible depicts James in a Ken doll, with a likeness-based face sculpt, a tall body and accessories described on Mattel’s product pages. It is intended for ages 6 and up, but its launch price and sale listings are historical details—not a dependable guide to what it costs or whether it is available now.
What is the LeBron James Kenbassadors doll?
Mattel identifies the product as the Barbie Signature LeBron James Kenbassadors Doll, SKU HRM33, released in 2025. Mattel Creations and the Associated Press described it as the first doll in the Kenbassadors line, launched to celebrate influential Ken figures and positive role models.
Mattel’s product support record specifies a LeBron James face sculpt and a “Ken Tall” body type. The doll is recommended for ages 6 and up. It cannot stand on its own; the package includes a stand and a Certificate of Authenticity. Mattel Creations credits Javi Meabe as doll designer and Charis Ceniroz as packaging designer.
How is the doll styled?
Mattel’s US shop page describes a bomber jacket bearing the number 23, checkered pants and statement sneakers, along with sunglasses, a fanny pack, a bracelet and headphones. The page also calls out “WE ARE FAMILY” and foundation branding.

Descriptions differ by source, so those details should not be combined into a single definitive outfit specification. The Associated Press’s April 9, 2025 launch account describes a blue-and-white letterman’s jacket; Axios names Nike Terminator High sneakers and Beat headphones. Those are launch-reporting descriptions, not details that should be silently substituted for Mattel’s current shop-page wording.
Why did Mattel introduce a Kenbassadors line?
Mattel framed the collection as a celebration of influential Ken figures creating positive change. The Associated Press reported that James was the first professional male athlete to have his likeness depicted in a Ken doll. The doll therefore serves both as a collectible and as a representation of an athlete whose public identity includes basketball, cultural influence and role-model messaging.

Mattel senior vice president Krista Berger described the release as recognizing James’s role-model status, cultural impact and example for the next generation. These are the stated motivations of James and Mattel, rather than independently measured claims about the doll’s impact.

All of those are historical sale details. They do not establish present stock, shipping terms, or a live listing.
