As of August 18, 2026, no confirmed Apple TV 4K Black Friday hardware deal is available. Black Friday falls on November 27. Apple’s current U.S. list prices are $199 for the 64GB Wi-Fi model and $249 for the 128GB Wi-Fi + Ethernet model. If you can wait, use the target prices below rather than treating early promotions or historical lows as a promise of what November will bring.

Are Apple TV Black Friday 2026 deals live?
No confirmed November Black Friday offer for Apple TV 4K was available as of August 18, 2026. Retailers may run early seasonal promotions, but those are not confirmation of the eventual Black Friday price. For example, Best Buy’s listing showed $249.99 for the 128GB model, effectively its regular price rather than a meaningful discount: Best Buy’s Apple TV 4K listing.
The current lineup is Apple TV 4K (3rd generation). Apple lists the 64GB Wi-Fi model at $199 and the 128GB Wi-Fi + Ethernet model at $249: Apple’s U.S. buying page. These are current list prices, not Black Friday sale prices.

What counts as a good Apple TV 4K price?
The figures below are target prices for evaluating a future offer, not confirmed 2026 deals. They apply to a new unit from a reputable seller; check whether a listed price requires membership, a credit card, a rebate, or rewards.
| Model | Price | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| 64GB Wi-Fi | $199 | Current list price; not a deal unless bundled with useful extras. |
| 64GB Wi-Fi | $179–$189 | Decent discount. |
| 64GB Wi-Fi | $149–$169 | Strong Black Friday buy. |
| 64GB Wi-Fi | $129–$149 | Excellent target; under $129 would be exceptional if new and sold by a reputable retailer. |
| 128GB Wi-Fi + Ethernet | $249 | Current list price; no discount. |
| 128GB Wi-Fi + Ethernet | $229–$239 | Modest discount. |
| 128GB Wi-Fi + Ethernet | $199–$219 | Strong deal for the added Ethernet and Thread support. |
| 128GB Wi-Fi + Ethernet | $149–$179 | Excellent target; verify that the listing is the correct model and condition. |
| 128GB Wi-Fi + Ethernet | Around $129–$149 | Exceptional if genuine, new stock; confirm seller and model carefully. |
Past deal records have shown Apple TV 4K prices around $99–$135, but those historical offers do not predict a 2026 sale. See MacRumors’ Apple TV deal history, a past $134.99 deal record, and a community Black Friday discussion.
Which Apple TV 4K model should you buy?
Both configurations use the A15 Bionic chip and support 4K, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, HLG, Dolby Atmos, Wi-Fi 6, and HDMI 2.1. The 128GB model adds Gigabit Ethernet and Thread; the extra storage does not improve picture quality. Apple’s specifications page lists the model differences.

- Watch live TV and access over 800 free channels from Pluto TV, Tubi, and more[3]; if you find an interesting show or movie on your TV, mobile app, or Google search, you can easily add it to your watchlist, so it’s ready when you are[2]
- Up to 4K HDR with Dolby Vision delivers captivating, true-to-life detail[4]; and you can connect speakers that support Dolby Atmos for more immersive 3D sound
| Choose | Best fit | Buying rule |
|---|---|---|
| 64GB Wi-Fi | Ordinary streaming, stable Wi-Fi, and buyers who do not need Thread or Ethernet. | Prefer it when it is at least $30–$50 below list and the 128GB premium is substantial. |
| 128GB Wi-Fi + Ethernet | Wired networks, congested Wi-Fi, larger app libraries or games, and Apple Home setups that use Thread. | It is easier to justify when it costs roughly $30–$40 more than the 64GB model. |
For a simple Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, YouTube, or Apple TV streaming setup, the 64GB model is generally the more economical choice. Pay more for the 128GB model when its Ethernet, Thread, or extra capacity addresses a need you actually have—not for a better image or faster processor.

Do not assume Apple will cut the hardware price. Apple has historically used gift-card promotions: its 2019 holiday terms, for example, offered a $25 Apple Store Gift Card with eligible Apple TV purchases. That is historical precedent, not a confirmed 2026 offer: Apple’s 2019 promotion terms.
A gift card is not cash off the purchase. Compare the price you pay today with the value you would personally get from the card, and check the official eligibility rules and dates if Apple announces a 2026 event. A retailer’s unconditional price cut may be a better value.

Apple TV 4K hardware is not the Apple TV streaming service
Apple TV 4K is the physical streaming box. Apple TV is Apple’s subscription streaming service. A subscription discount or trial is not a hardware deal. Apple currently advertises three months of Apple TV access with an Apple TV 4K purchase; check the offer’s current terms at Apple’s offer page.
What comes in the box—and what may cost extra?
The package includes the Apple TV 4K, Siri Remote, power cord, and documentation. It does not include an HDMI cable or a USB-C charging cable or power adapter for the remote; Apple says cables are sold separately on its buying page.

You need an HDMI-capable television and broadband internet. The 64GB model uses Wi-Fi; the 128GB model can use Wi-Fi or Ethernet. To use 4K or HDR features, the television must support the relevant format. Check that an HDMI cable you already own supports the picture features you want.

Should you buy now or wait for a possible refresh?
Apple’s current product and specifications pages identify the available device as the 3rd-generation Apple TV 4K, originally released in 2022. The evidence available here establishes no confirmed replacement or launch date. A refresh before Black Friday is possible but should not be treated as certain.
If you do not need a box now, waiting until closer to November gives you a chance to compare announced offers and see whether Apple changes its lineup. At list price, waiting is the more cautious choice. If you need a device now, a substantial unconditional discount can still make the current model worthwhile; do not pay full price solely on the assumption that a new model will or will not arrive.

Compare the same model across Apple and retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and Target’s Apple Black Friday page. A retailer’s listing alone does not guarantee that the retailer is the seller. Before ordering, check:
Best Value
- Dolby Atmos for immersive, room-filling sound - 4K High Frame Rate HDR with Dolby Vision for fluid, crisp video
- A12 Bionic chip gives a big boost to audio, video, and graphics, for even better game and app experiences than ever before
- The new Siri Remote with touch-enabled clickpad - Use AirPlay to share photos, videos, and more from your device on your TV
- Apple Original shows and movies from Apple TV+ - Watch the latest hits from Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, HBO Max, and more
- More ways to enjoy your TV with Apple Arcade, Apple Fitness+, and Apple Music - Private listening using up to two sets of AirPods
- Exact model: Match the 3rd-generation Apple TV 4K, the capacity, and Wi-Fi or Ethernet configuration. Listings may use vague “latest model” wording. Apple’s model-identification guide can help verify a device.
- Seller and condition: Check “sold by” and “ships from,” plus whether the unit is new, open-box, refurbished, or used. Confirm the warranty, return deadline, and included Siri Remote and power cord.
- Real price: Separate an immediate discount from a gift card, cashback, or store rewards. Label any membership or credit-card requirement and account for its cost if relevant.
- Availability: Check delivery estimates, local pickup, location restrictions, and whether the offer covers the model you want. A deal may end or sell out before November 27.
- Price matching: Do not count on a retailer matching a competitor during Black Friday; exclusions and policies can change.
Apple’s certified refurbished 64GB listing is another option when a new unit is not deeply discounted. Check the live price, availability, condition terms, and return policy; refurbished stock may not include the configuration you want.
When is a rival streamer better value?
If the Apple TV 4K remains near list price, the right alternative depends on your television setup and ecosystem. A lower purchase price can outweigh Apple integration for some households; it is not a like-for-like substitute in every respect.
- Roku Ultra: Consider it for a lower-cost, platform-neutral streaming setup. It is less integrated with iPhone, AirPlay, and Apple Home. Best Buy’s deal hub has listed it around $99.99, but that price must be checked again: Best Buy deals.
- Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max: A budget option for Alexa households, with a more advertising-oriented interface. Best Buy’s deal hub showed one promotion at $34.99; confirm the exact generation and current offer at the product listing.
- NVIDIA Shield TV Pro: Better suited to some Android TV, Plex, local-media, and enthusiast setups, but it is not the low-cost option. Best Buy’s deal hub referenced $199.99; verify the live price at Best Buy’s Shield TV Pro search.
- Your TV’s built-in platform: A sensible no-extra-cost choice for basic streaming or a second-room television. The experience, update support, and integration vary by TV.
Apple TV 4K’s case is strongest for people who value Apple services, iPhone integration, AirPlay, and Apple Home. If you mainly want inexpensive access to streaming apps, a discounted rival—or the TV you already own—may be sufficient.
