Yes. In the week of December 22, 2025, outlets reported that a Thor-focused Avengers: Doomsday teaser was circulating on social media ahead of its expected theatrical play with Avatar: Fire and Ash. That footage was not an official Marvel release. Marvel later released a Thor teaser officially; viewers should use the official video linked from Disney UK’s Avengers: Doomsday page rather than reposts of the leak.
What was reported about the leak?
On December 24, 2025, Variety reported that a Thor-focused teaser had appeared in social-media leaks that week and was expected to play in theaters with Avatar: Fire and Ash beginning Thursday. The Guardian had reported on December 19 that another leaked trailer appeared to focus on Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, while noting uncertainty about the leaks and which screenings carried the teasers.
Those reports describe footage circulating online, not a Marvel announcement or verified studio upload. The available reporting does not establish who first uploaded the Thor footage, the precise time it first appeared online, or whether every copy circulating was authentic.
Where can you watch the official Thor teaser?
By December 30, 2025, Sideshow reported that Marvel had released its second official Avengers: Doomsday teaser, featuring Thor, and linked to Marvel Entertainment’s official YouTube channel. For an official viewing route and current film information, use Disney UK’s film page, which links official video entries.

That distinction matters: the earlier social-media copies were leak reports; the later Marvel-channel teaser was an official release. A reposted leak is not a substitute for the studio’s video.
