Aretuza appeared as a juror on the program’s Show de Calouros segment in the edition associated with Sunday, 10 March 2024. POPLine previewed her participation on 8 March; Tracklist and iG Gente published follow-up coverage on 14 March.
Why Elke Maravilha mattered to Aretuza
In an interview reported by iG Gente on 14 March 2024, Aretuza recalled watching Elke on television as a child and described her as an enduring inspiration. “A Elke é uma inspiração pra mim. Nunca deixou de ser, mesmo com a sua partida,” Aretuza said. In English: “Elke is an inspiration to me. She never stopped being one, even after her passing.” Aretuza also called paying tribute to Elke a realization for her.

The tribute carried a connection to the program itself: Elke had also served as a judge on Silvio Santos’s Show de Calouros. In its 16 August 2016 remembrance, SBT described Elke as judging contestants with care and being generous with her scores. Aretuza’s appearance therefore recalled both Elke’s distinctive public style and her place in the history of the segment.
