How does this fit Riot’s plans for Runeterra stories?
Netflix’s official Arcane season-two guide quotes Linke saying, “But ARCANE is just the first of many stories that we want to tell in Runeterra.” The same page says Arcane’s story wraps with season two. This is a statement of wider franchise ambition, not an announcement of a specific successor or a green light for shows about the three regions. Netflix Tudum’s Arcane guide says both seasons are streaming; availability can vary by territory.
Riot’s organizational announcement says Linke would lead its animation studio and Brian Wright its live-action studio, which had a slate of “potential projects” based on Riot lore and narrative. Riot’s leadership page identifies Linke as Head of Animation Studio and Arcane co-creator and showrunner. Those details describe the company’s structure and development scope, but do not attach a named upcoming production to Noxus, Ionia, or Demacia.
