No: LG’s Apple TV+ deal for $2.99 a month for three months is no longer available. The promotion ended July 7, 2025. Apple’s U.S. page currently lists a $14.99 monthly price after a seven-day free trial; any regional or account-specific offer should be checked in the Apple TV app before signing up.
What the $2.99 Apple TV+ deal offered
LG announced a promotion for eligible customers in 93 participating countries: three months of Apple TV+ for USD $2.99 per month. The redemption period ran from May 19 through July 7, 2025, so it is expired as of October 2026. LG’s announcement gives the participating-country count but does not list those countries, so eligibility cannot be assumed for every market where LG sells its devices. Which LG devices qualified?
LG’s terms covered specified models, not every LG product. Eligible product families included:
- 2018–2025 LG 4K and 8K Smart TVs
- StanbyME, StanbyME Go, and StanbyME 2
- 2022–2025 LG MyView Smart Monitor models
- 2020–2025 LG CineBeam models
The promotion was limited to select participating markets. The announcement does not establish which specific countries were included, so device ownership alone did not guarantee eligibility.

Who could redeem it, and what happened after three months?
The offer was for new and qualified returning Apple TV+ subscribers in their region. LG specified one offer per TV and Apple Account, and required an Apple Account with a payment method on file. The subscription automatically renewed at the customer’s regional monthly price after the promotional period unless canceled. LG said cancellation had to be made in account settings at least one day before a renewal date. The offer could not be combined with another offer providing access to the same service. LG did not state one universal renewal price.
Is there another Apple TV+ offer for $2.99?
A separate promotion reported by Kiplinger in April 2025 also offered new subscribers three months at $2.99 per month, but its signup deadline was April 24, 2025. That offer is expired as well. Kiplinger reported a $9.99 monthly renewal price at the time; that historical figure should not be treated as today’s price. Kiplinger’s April 2025 report.

Apple’s current U.S. page lists Apple TV at $14.99 per month after a seven-day free trial. It also identifies other ways to access the service: three months included with an Apple TV 4K purchase, through Apple One, or with the Apple Music Student Plan. Those options have their own terms and eligibility, and do not mean the expired LG promotion is active. Apple TV subscription details.
