In the same interview, the American Pickers star said he expected the show’s production to pause after filming wrapped around June—a break he described as the first in 15 years. His estimate of four or five months was a forecast made in March 2025, not a confirmed account of the show’s later schedule.
What movie is Mike Wolfe in?
Wolfe plays Mark in Day of Reckoning, a Western directed by Shaun Silva. PEOPLE’s March 28, 2025 interview reported that the film opened in theaters that day and marked Wolfe’s feature-film debut. Wolfe said Silva was a friend who knew about his passion for motorcycles, which helped draw him to a project that involved riding.
Wolfe admitted he was unsure about acting before accepting the part. “I was like, ‘Okay, maybe I can.’ I don’t know if I’m fighting above my weight here, but it wasn’t like I had a ton of lines,” he told PEOPLE. He recalled feeling nervous on his first day and credited co-star Billy Zane with helping him work through his lines. “I’m out in a bean field in the middle of nowhere and Billy Zane is giving me acting lessons. I mean, when does that happen in life?”
His partner, Leticia Cline, also rode in the film, sitting behind Wolfe on the motorcycle he rode. PEOPLE described Cline as a travel journalist and motorcycle rider who had raced flat track for Harley-Davidson.

In his March 28, 2025 interview with PEOPLE, Wolfe said filming was expected to wrap around June and that he anticipated at least four or five months off. He said the show had not taken a break like that in 15 years; its longest previous pause, he recalled, was about a month around Christmas. “We haven’t done that in 15 years, so that’s going to feel good. For 15 years, we have just been going and going and going,” he said. “I think we’re going to have at least four or five months off, so it’s going to be good.”
