Amanda Bynes said in a social media post on June 23, 2025, that she planned to start Ozempic, explaining that she hoped to look better in paparazzi pictures. The reports document an announcement and a stated goal—not confirmed treatment now or a verified weight-loss result.
What Amanda Bynes said
In coverage published June 25, 2025, The Independent reported that Bynes said, “I’m going on Ozempic. So excited”. She described wanting to look better in paparazzi pictures. India Today, reporting on June 23, 2025, attributed a fuller explanation to her: “That would be awesome, so I would look better in paparazzi pictures. And you don’t see my double chin from strange angles.”
The original social media post was not directly verified by these reports; the quotations here are attributed to the outlets that reported them.
The weight goal she reported
India Today reported that Bynes said she weighed 173 pounds and hoped to reach about 130 pounds. Those are figures she reportedly stated in June 2025, not independently verified measurements. The report does not establish that she reached her target.
