Who is Henry Brayshaw?
Henry Brayshaw is the son of Australian sports commentator James Brayshaw. PerthNow reported on 24 March 2025 that he and Annie Knight were engaged. The headline’s description of Knight as “Australia’s most sexually active woman” was a label used in media coverage, not a verified national ranking: the reports cited here provide no methodology or statistical evidence establishing such a title.
How was the engagement reported?
PerthNow’s 24 March 2025 report said the proposal took place over dinner. It described “Will you marry me?” written on a dessert and a diamond-encrusted ring. The story attributed some of those details to the Daily Mail and private Instagram posts, so they are reported details rather than independently verified facts. The report does not establish the ring’s brand, exact specifications or seller.
Why did Knight call the proposal a surprise?
In an interview published by Need To Know on 28 March 2025, Knight said she and Brayshaw had been best friends for ten years, had reconnected in the previous six months and had become a couple shortly before the proposal. She said, “I had absolutely no idea!” The interview presents Knight and Brayshaw’s account of their relationship history and the proposal.

What did they say about their relationship plans?
In that March 2025 interview, Knight described their arrangement as an unofficial “open relationship” and said she intended to continue her work and challenges. Those comments record what she said at the time; they do not establish the couple’s current arrangements.
When did Annie Knight and Henry Brayshaw marry?
PerthNow reported on 6 October 2026 that Knight and Brayshaw married on 1 October at The Valley Estate in Currumbin Valley, Queensland. Marie Claire Australia also reported the wedding on 7 October 2026. Reflecting on the ceremony, Knight told the magazine: “It was better than I could ever have imagined, but the feeling I had standing at the end of the aisle with Henry is so hard to put into words. It’s a moment I’ll relive in my mind forever.”
