Spoiler-light review: The second three-episode chapter of Andor Season 2 works as a gradual escalation: Cassian, Vel Sartha, and Cinta Kaz arrive to assess Ghorman’s developing rebellion, and political observation increasingly carries the risk of operational action. Its strongest shape is that of a self-contained chapter whose tension builds toward Episode 6, while still serving the season’s longer transformation of Cassian into a figure of the Rebel Alliance.

What Episodes 4–6 cover

The chapter comprises “Ever Been to Ghorman?”, “I Have Friends Everywhere,” and “What a Festive Evening,” listed by Disney+ as Season 2 episodes 4, 5, and 6. Lucasfilm’s series page gives April 22, 2025 as the Season 2 release date. That is the season-level date; the cited official material does not establish a separate release date for this three-episode block.

StarWars.com’s episode explainer frames the Ghorman crisis as heating up: Luthen Rael sends Cassian and agents Vel Sartha and Cinta Kaz to assess the developing rebellion. The assignment gives the chapter its central tension. The team is there to observe a political situation, but the closer they get to its consequences, the harder it becomes to treat observation as detached work.

How the Ghorman story builds

The three episodes function as more than a route to a single suspense sequence. Their dramatic interest comes from the movement between political watching and the prospect of action: the characters must read a volatile situation while judging what their presence, choices, and risks might mean. That gives the Ghorman storyline room to establish pressure before the chapter asks the audience to feel its operational stakes.

This approach suits Andor when its politics are allowed to shape character decisions rather than serve as background explanation. Here, the developing rebellion is not simply a plot setting; it is the reason Cassian and the others are on Ghorman, and the context that makes intelligence work consequential. The chapter’s slower build is therefore purposeful, though viewers looking for a rapid sequence of mission beats may find its emphasis on assessment less immediately propulsive.

Does Episode 6 deliver suspense?

“What a Festive Evening” brings the chapter’s political setup into sharper contact with operational danger. A contemporaneous HoloFiles review singled out the listening-device heist as an intense culmination. That is one reviewer’s assessment, not evidence of a broader consensus; as a critical description, it points to the chapter’s key payoff: suspense grows out of the intelligence operation rather than arriving as an unrelated action detour.

The heist matters most in the context built by the preceding episodes. When a story has spent time establishing what the characters need to learn and why Ghorman is unstable, a risky operation can feel like the consequence of political pressure, not merely a set piece. The chapter’s success rests on that connection—whether the setup gives the final episode’s danger enough weight to make the suspense land.

What this chapter does for Cassian

Disney’s season framing describes Season 2 as Cassian’s transformation toward his role in the Rebel Alliance and the events of Rogue One, as set out in The Walt Disney Company’s season announcement. Episodes 4–6 contribute to that longer arc by placing him inside an intelligence mission shaped by a larger political struggle. The chapter’s focus is less on declaring a completed transformation than on showing the kinds of decisions and risks through which it takes shape.

That restraint is useful in a serialized story. Cassian’s development gains meaning when it emerges through what he does amid competing pressures, rather than being treated as a milestone the season can simply announce. This block advances his position within the rebellion’s work while keeping Ghorman’s crisis at the center of the drama.

How the three-episode format helps

Disney’s Season 2 materials describe a four-chapter release structure, with three episodes in each chapter, and identify Beau Willimon as the writer of Episodes 4–6. The structure encourages two readings at once: this is a contained installment with its own build and culmination, but it is also one movement in a longer season. On those terms, the Ghorman chapter is coherent because its political setup and operational suspense belong to the same story, even as Cassian’s broader arc continues beyond it.

Disney+ lists the series and episode titles, but its catalog availability can vary by territory and change over time. The official season materials confirm the chapter structure; they do not, in the sources cited here, provide a detailed episode-by-episode synopsis or a speaker-attributed quotation to add to this review’s framing.
