Its announcement named 15 inspirations, but one entry is “various PlayStation Studios games,” a grouped category rather than a single game title. Prime Video’s current listing identifies the series as having 15 episodes.
What is Secret Level?
Secret Level is an adult animated anthology series on Prime Video, created by the team behind Love, Death + Robots. Prime Video describes its episodes as original stories set within video game worlds and says each of its 15 episodes celebrates games and gamers. That framing does not mean every short retells the plot of a particular game.
The original announcement introduced the series and its inspirations; it was not a current launch notice. Prime Video now lists Season 1. Availability can vary by region, so check the service’s listing where you live.
Which game worlds did Amazon announce?
The Amazon MGM Studios announcement named these inspirations:
#1 Best Overall
- Armored Core
- Concord
- Crossfire
- Dungeons & Dragons
- Exodus
- Honor of Kings
- Mega Man
- New World: Aeternum
- PAC-MAN
- Various PlayStation Studios games
- Sifu
- Spelunky
- The Outer Worlds
- Unreal Tournament
- Warhammer 40,000
The list contains 15 announced story inspirations, not 15 individually named games: the PlayStation Studios entry refers to multiple games as a group. The announcement does not specify which titles in that group are represented, so it should not be counted as one named game or expanded into a more specific list.
What is known about the featured properties?
New World: Aeternum
Amazon Games separately identified New World: Aeternum as one of the featured worlds. Its 2024 announcement said the game would launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on October 15, 2024. That is the launch date Amazon announced at the time, not a statement about the game’s current service status.

Warhammer 40,000
A later development is separate from the anthology’s initial announcement: Space.com reported on August 5, 2026, that a Warhammer 40,000 animated series was in development at Prime Video, with Henry Cavill attached as executive producer, and described it as arising from Secret Level’s Warhammer episode. The report concerns a distinct project, not an additional episode in the original 15-story announcement; its title and release timing were not established there.
