The announced touring lineup was:

- Stevie Young — rhythm guitar
- Matt Laug — drums

The announcement identified Chaney as replacing Cliff Williams on bass. It also noted that Johnson had returned after sitting out the 2016 tour because of hearing problems; Axl Rose had filled in for 22 shows during that period.
Who are Matt Laug and Chris Chaney?
Matt Laug, drummer
Matt Laug was the drummer named in the 2024 touring lineup. AC/DC’s later announcement for its 2026 continuation also listed Laug, indicating that he remained part of the announced touring lineup for that run.

The band’s 2026 continuation announcement, published on 3 November 2025, listed shows in South America, Mexico, the United States and Canada. Its lineup again named Laug and Chaney. The official AC/DC news index reviewed for this article displayed 2026 news and the 2025 continuation announcement, but no announcement of a 2026 European tour. That index snapshot does not establish whether the band may announce future European plans.
Is AC/DC touring Europe in 2026?
No 2026 European dates are established by the announcements described here. The later European dates AC/DC announced were for 2025, and the published 2026 continuation covered countries outside Europe.
