Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski have two children: a daughter, publicly identified as Nina, and a son whose name Seyfried has said is not Thomas. Their children were born in 2017 and 2020, making them 9 and 6 by birth year as of October 2026; exact birthdays are not established in the cited reports. Seyfried and Sadoski announced in September 2026 that they had been separated for some time.
How many children do Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski have?
They have two children, a daughter and a son. The couple have generally kept their children’s lives private, so public accounts offer only occasional details rather than a full picture of their family life.
What are their children’s names?
Their daughter
Their daughter is publicly identified as Nina. The Los Angeles Times used that name in its September 2026 report about the family.
Their son
Their son’s name has not been reliably established in the cited public accounts. Some coverage has called him Thomas or Thomas Jr., but Seyfried directly disputed that identification in a March 2025 interview with Extra, as reported by Just Jared: “Everybody thinks that my son’s name is Thomas… Somebody somewhere made up that his name was Thomas and I’m all for it but his name isn’t Thomas.” She added that she liked that he had “a secret name.”

Because Seyfried said his name is not Thomas, it is more accurate to leave his name unspecified than to repeat the conflicting reports as fact.
How old are Amanda Seyfried’s children?
Reports give their birth years as 2017 and 2020. By birth year, they are 9 and 6 in October 2026. The cited reports do not establish exact birthdays for both children, so those ages should not be read as confirmed ages on a particular day.

Parade also reported that Seyfried’s son writes songs that he and his mother perform at home. The same outlet described the children playing in a cardboard cottage Seyfried helped design through Make It Cute, a children’s playhouse and craft-kit brand she co-founded. These are small glimpses from interviews, not evidence of a public career or a broader account of the children’s private lives.
Missing her daughter while traveling
A January 2026 Guardian interview included Seyfried describing telling her daughter that she felt sad and tired while traveling and missed her. The anecdote offers a brief account of their relationship, not a basis for drawing conclusions about the family’s private circumstances.
