Who is Pauline Chalamet?
Pauline Chalamet is a Franco-American actor. She grew up in New York and comes from a family with arts and media connections, according to Vogue France. Her younger brother is actor Timothée Chalamet. In a 2024 interview with NYLON, Pauline described the siblings’ age difference as “three years, 11 months, and two days.”
How did she get into acting?
Chalamet’s route to acting included ballet, college study, and a period when she considered a different career. Vogue France recounts that she trained in ballet when she was young and later turned toward acting after a bicycle accident; that is the profile’s account of her biography.
She graduated from Bard College in 2014 with a double major in theater and political studies, according to her 2021 NYLON interview. She has described her experience there as complicated: she found academic motivation and fell in love with learning, while also feeling financial pressure and uncertainty about staying. French and other screen work
Her work is not limited to the college comedy. Vogue France’s October 2025 profile names the French series Split and short film Comme des grands among her credits, describing a career that moves between French and U.S. projects. The available profiles establish those titles but do not compare the size or prominence of her roles in them.
