What did Alexander Polinsky say Scott Baio did?
Polinsky, who played Adam Powell on the 1980s sitcom Charles in Charge, made the allegations at a press conference with former co-star Nicole Eggert and attorney Lisa Bloom. CBS Los Angeles, carrying Associated Press reporting, quoted him as saying: “I was sexually harassed by Scott Baio and ultimately assaulted by him between the ages of 12 and 15 years old.” He alleged that Baio exposed his genitals to him on one occasion and pulled down his pants in front of more than 100 people on another. ABC News reported a further detail from Polinsky’s account: he said Baio exposed himself after cutting a hole in the wall of Polinsky’s dressing room. This is Polinsky’s allegation as reported by ABC, not an independently established finding. ABC summarized the alleged period as beginning when Polinsky was 11 or 12 and lasting until he was 15; the CBS/AP account quoted him as saying “between the ages of 12 and 15.” ABC News, February 14, 2018.
What did Scott Baio say in response?
Baio denied the allegations. At a separate press conference on February 14, his spokesman, Brian Glicklich, read a statement attributed to Baio: “For reasons I don’t understand, I am the target of false claims that threaten everything that is important in my life. I am hurt and I am angry. But mostly, I am stunned that anyone could be so cruel, as to attack not just me, but my family with lies.” CBS Los Angeles / Associated Press, February 14, 2018.

Did prosecutors later decide Polinsky’s allegation?
No reported decision in the cited accounts adjudicated Polinsky’s allegation. In June 2018, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office declined to file charges against Baio in connection with Eggert’s separate allegations, citing the statute of limitations. The Associated Press report noted Polinsky’s allegations as background, but the charging decision concerned Eggert’s claims; it did not resolve whether Polinsky’s allegation was true or false.
