Alan Jackson’s final full-length touring concert was June 27, 2026, at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. It followed his May 17, 2025, announcement in Milwaukee that he was playing his “last road show.” Jackson has also publicly said he lives with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT), an inherited condition affecting peripheral nerves.

The two dates mark different milestones:
| Milestone | Date and place | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Last road show | May 17, 2025, Milwaukee | Jackson announced that the show was his final road performance. |
| Finale | June 27, 2026, Nissan Stadium, Nashville | The venue identified “Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale” as the last full-length concert of Jackson’s touring career. Nissan Stadium’s event page lists the concert details. |
The Nashville event did take place. The Associated Press reported afterward that the concert brought Jackson’s touring career to an end: AP’s report on the finale.
Is Alan Jackson retiring from touring?
Yes. Jackson announced the Milwaukee performance as his last road show, then followed through with the Nashville finale he had promised. AP described the June 2026 concert as the end of his touring career. That establishes an end to touring; it does not, by itself, establish that he will never record or perform in any other capacity.

What has Jackson said about CMT?
Jackson has publicly disclosed that he lives with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. AP reported that he said the condition affected his balance and his ability to walk and perform. These are details attributed to Jackson’s public remarks, not a clinical account of his health or a statement that CMT determined the date of his final concert.
What is Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease?
Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease is a group of inherited conditions that affect peripheral nerves—the nerves connecting the brain and spinal cord with muscles and sensory organs. The CMT Research Foundation’s educational overview describes possible progressive muscle weakness and sensory loss. Symptoms may start at different ages and vary from person to person; the diagnosis does not imply that everyone experiences the same limitations or progression.

How is CMT managed?
The CMT Research Foundation says symptom management may include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and orthoses such as ankle-foot braces. These are general management options, not details of Jackson’s individual care. The foundation’s page states that there is no cure; treatment status can change as research progresses, so this should not be read as a complete or individualized treatment assessment.

Before the concert, Nissan Stadium’s event page said that $1 from each ticket would go to the CMT Research Foundation and that a donor would match the amount with $2. That was the announced arrangement; a final donation total has not been established here.
