Inside Lil Wayne’s Former Miami Beach Mansion—and What “$29 Million” Meant

Lil Wayne’s former Miami Beach home had a suede-walled theater, pool, cabana, and 110 feet of waterfront. Its $29.5 million figure was the 2022 asking price, not its sale price.

Lil Wayne’s former Miami Beach mansion was listed for $29.5 million in 2022, but that was an asking price—not its eventual sale price. The Allison Island home sold for $22.583 million in 2023 and changed hands again for $33.25 million in March 2026. Its reported features included seven bedrooms, a waterfront pool and cabana, soaring ceilings, and a movie theater with suede-covered walls.

Where the mansion is—and what the $29 million figure means

The house at 6480 Allison Road sits on Allison Island in Miami Beach. Lil Wayne bought the property in 2018 for $16.75 million, according to Realtor.com. In September 2022, it was listed for $29.5 million, then reduced to $28 million. It sold in February 2023 for $22.583 million. The Miami Herald reported that it resold in March 2026 for $33.25 million.

2018 $16.75 million Price Lil Wayne paid, as reported by Realtor.com.
September 2022 $29.5 million Initial asking price, reported by the Los Angeles Times and Realtor.com.
2022 $28 million Reduced asking price, reported by Realtor.com.
February 2023 $22.583 million Sale price, reported by Realtor.com and the Miami Herald.
March 2026 $33.25 million Resale price, reported by the Miami Herald.

A waterfront approach and open, minimalist interiors

The Los Angeles Times described a half-acre property with 110 feet of waterfront. A floating walkway leads to the entry, and the home’s wood-and-glass exterior gives way to minimalist interiors with reported 22-foot ceilings. The primary suite has a private terrace; other reported features include an elevator, wine cellar, and outdoor patio.

The design firm identified for the house is Choeff Levy Fischman, according to Realtor.com. That same report describes a 10,278-square-foot home built in 2017. In its 2026 sale report, the Miami Herald gives the area as 10,632 square feet. Published figures therefore differ; neither should be treated as a settled measurement without further documentation.

The theater, pool, and outdoor entertaining spaces

The movie theater is among the home’s most distinctive reported interiors: the Miami Herald’s 2022 tour noted suede wall coverings. A mahogany-clad entryway adds a contrasting material detail. Sliding doors connect indoor spaces to the pool and outdoor dining areas, with a cabana and waterfront beyond.

The pool, cabana, private dock, and patio make the property’s relationship to the water central to its layout, rather than merely a view from the house. The Los Angeles Times reported the dock and 110-foot waterfront frontage; the Miami Herald described the sliding doors and the sequence toward the pool, dining spaces, cabana, and water.

How the home was reported

Published accounts consistently describe a seven-bedroom residence. The Los Angeles Times and Miami Herald’s 2022 coverage also report nine bathrooms, while the later Miami Herald sale article lists seven bedrooms. The square-footage discrepancy—10,278 in Realtor.com’s 2023 report and 10,632 in the Miami Herald’s 2026 report—should remain attributed to those outlets rather than collapsed into a single figure.
