WALTER holds the longest reign among the nine NXT championship lineages compared here: 870 days as NXT United Kingdom Champion, according to WWE’s title-history page. The list also includes singles, tag-team and now-retired championships, so each record is for one title lineage—not a wrestler’s combined time as champion.
Which nine NXT titles are included?
WWE recognizes more NXT-branded championship histories than these nine. This comparison selects the core NXT and NXT UK lineages with established reign tables: the NXT, NXT Women’s, NXT Tag Team, NXT North American, NXT United Kingdom, NXT UK Women’s, NXT UK Tag Team, NXT Cruiserweight and NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships. WWE’s title-history index also lists titles such as the NXT Heritage Cup and NXT Women’s North American Championship, which are outside this selection.
The durations below are the reign figures recorded in WWE’s title-history pages. For tag-team titles, the record belongs to the team’s reign; it is not an individual member’s cumulative total. WWE marks some championships in the list as retired.

| NXT Championship | Finn Bálor | 292 days |

How to read the records
- Compare within each title. Each championship has its own lineage; the overall ranking here compares the listed reign durations, not the importance or status of the titles.
- Keep team reigns distinct. Gallus and Chance and Carter are listed as teams, and their figures describe one team reign.
- Note the North American record uncertainty. WWE’s page information available for this comparison gives a 209-day reign for Velveteen Dream and also a 272-day figure in a later section. Those figures do not establish a single all-time record-holder, so the table does not assign one.
- Retirement does not erase a record. WWE marks the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship retired; its 186-day record remains a reign in that title’s history.
