Answers for June 16, 2025

The four categories and their words are:

Color Category Words
Yellow Expressionless BLANK, FLAT, INANIMATE, WOODEN
Green Drapery hanging items BRACKET, CURTAIN, HOOK, ROD
Blue What a drink is served with COASTER, GARNISH, GLASS, STRAW
Purple Starting with methods of transportation BUSBOY, CARBON, SHIPSHAPE, TRAINEE

How the purple group works

The purple connection is a word-start trick: BUSBOY begins with BUS, CARBON with CAR, SHIPSHAPE with SHIP, and TRAINEE with TRAIN. Those beginnings are transportation words embedded in the longer answers; the four full words are not themselves modes of transport.
