The finale’s central reveal changes how to understand the apparent return of Geto. Choso realizes that the mastermind behind events is using Geto’s corpse. The episode does not establish that the original Geto has simply come back to life. ORICON’s finale preview also identifies Choso’s recognition as the key revelation.
That revelation sits alongside a wider disaster: Shibuya’s immediate battles have ended, but the mastermind’s plan and the consequences for the jujutsu world remain unresolved. The finale is a transition to the next conflict, rather than a wrap-up of the story.

Is Geto alive at the end?
The safest anime-only answer is that the body is Geto’s, but the person controlling or using it is the mastermind Choso recognizes. The finale does not present this as a straightforward resurrection of the original Suguru Geto. It leaves the full nature and history of that relationship for the story to explain further.
What did Choso realize?
Choso recognizes the identity of the mastermind behind the figure he had understood as Geto. That recognition is crucial because it exposes the apparent Geto as more than a familiar face: someone is using his corpse while manipulating events. The episode makes Choso’s discovery a turning point, but its full implications are part of the continuing story.

Why does Yuta arrive, and why is Yuji in danger?
Yuta’s arrival is the finale’s immediate cliffhanger. His presence puts Yuji at risk and signals a new confrontation, but the last image alone does not explain his complete motives or the resolution of their conflict. Treat it as a setup for the next arc, not a fully answered question.
Does Season 2 end the whole story?
No. Season 2 ends the Shibuya Incident storyline at a turning point, with serious consequences and conflicts still ahead.
