Reports highlighted a separate soundproofed structure described as a recording studio. Realtor.com later reported that the property was listed for $2.75 million in March 2025; that was an asking price at the time, and its subsequent sale status has not been established by the reporting cited here.
Where did Marilyn Manson buy the home, and when?
Realtor.com reported that Manson purchased the property in Glendale, California, in May 2022 for $2.2 million. The 2022 coverage placed the home in a tree-surrounded setting and described it as a multi-level property. Those details are outlet reporting; the transaction and property records have not been independently verified here. Realtor.com’s March 2025 report and earlier accounts provide the reported details.
Why was the purchase described as a bidding war?
Reports from 2022 said the home attracted multiple interested buyers or offers. Luxurylaunches reported that Manson paid more than the original asking price, which it described as below $2 million. The accounts characterize competition for the property, but do not provide a complete offer history or the individual bid amounts. Luxurylaunches’ 2022 account and Dirt’s 2022 coverage reported the purchase and buyer interest.
What is known about the house and its studio?
The reports describe a four-bedroom, three-bathroom home. They differ in how they identify the separate soundproofed space, so the distinction matters: the available coverage does not establish its legal classification.

“Detached garage” and “ADU” are source-specific descriptions, not interchangeable proof of permitting or construction history. The reports do not identify the recording equipment or establish who built or legally classified the structure. Luxurylaunches and Realtor.com provide the respective descriptions.
What price was reported when it was listed in 2025?
Realtor.com reported in March 2025 that the Glendale property was listed for $2.75 million. That figure is the reported asking price at that time, not evidence of a completed sale or the price a buyer ultimately paid.

Did Marilyn Manson sell the Glendale home?
The cited reporting establishes a March 2025 listing, but does not establish whether the home later sold, remained listed, or changed ownership. A listing is not proof of a sale, so the most accurate answer from these reports is that the home’s status after that report is unresolved.
