Taylor Swift’s Vote.org voter-registration post and Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast were among the 2024 Webby Awards nominees announced April 2, 2024. A separate Travis Kelce campaign for The Cheesecake Factory was also nominated. Swift’s Vote.org entry later won both the Webby and People’s Voice awards in its category; those results were announced later in April.
What were Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce nominated for?
| Person or project | 2024 nomination | Outcome shown in the official Webby gallery |
|---|---|---|
| Taylor Swift and Vote.org | “Vote.org + Taylor Swift on National Voter Registration Day,” Social, Best Creator or Influencer Collaboration | Webby Winner and People’s Voice Winner |
| Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce | New Heights, Best Sports Podcast | The April 23 announcement names the Kelces among winners overall but does not identify the category in the cited passage. |
| Travis Kelce and The Cheesecake Factory | “The Cheesecake Factory x Travis Kelce: Fashion Icons,” Social, Best Creator or Influencer Collaboration | Nominee |
The official 2024 Webby gallery lists the Swift/Vote.org result and the Cheesecake Factory campaign in the social collaboration category. The Associated Press’s April 2 report identifies New Heights as a Best Sports Podcast nominee.
Why Swift’s Vote.org post was nominated
The nominated entry was Swift’s Instagram message encouraging followers to register to vote through Vote.org on National Voter Registration Day. It was recognized as a creator or influencer collaboration, rather than as a music award nomination.
The AP reported that Vote.org recorded more than 35,000 registrations in connection with the effort. That figure describes registrations reported by Vote.org; it does not establish how many were caused by Swift’s post.

How Kelce’s two nominations differ
New Heights: a sports podcast nomination
Travis Kelce was nominated for New Heights, the sports podcast he hosts with his brother Jason. This was a podcast-category nomination, separate from the social campaign featuring Travis Kelce.
“Fashion Icons”: a social collaboration nomination
The Webby gallery lists “The Cheesecake Factory x Travis Kelce: Fashion Icons” as a nominee in Social, Best Creator or Influencer Collaboration. It is not the New Heights entry.
What happened after the nominations?
The Webby Awards’ April 23, 2024, winners announcement says Jason and Travis Kelce were among the winners, but the cited announcement passage does not specify the category or work associated with their win. It therefore does not establish that New Heights won. The official gallery does identify Swift’s Vote.org entry as both a Webby Winner and a People’s Voice Winner in 2024.
The awards distinguish between Webby Winners, selected by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, and People’s Voice winners, chosen by public vote. The ceremony for the 28th annual awards was scheduled for May 13, 2024, according to the official winners announcement.
