Five Netflix releases to look out for next week
Netflix Tudum’s October 2026 schedule, published September 30, lists these releases during the October 12–18 calendar week. The selections below are grouped by the kind of viewing they offer, rather than ranked by expected popularity. See Netflix Tudum’s October schedule.
| Title | Release date | What it is |

| Solar Opposites, Season 6 | October 13 | Animated comedy about aliens adjusting to life in American suburbs after fleeing their home planet. |

| The Disciple | October 16 | A documentary about an outsider whose determination brings him into Wu-Tang Clan’s inner circle, where ambition and creativity lead toward an album. |
October 13: Mike Tyson and alien comedy
TYSON is the documentary choice for viewers interested in the boxer’s story. Netflix describes it as a four-part series; that is the format count, not a measure of viewership.

#1 Best Overall
For a very different mood, Solar Opposites returns for Season 6. Its premise follows a family of aliens adapting to American suburban life after escaping their exploding home planet.
October 14: dating reality returns
Love Is Blind returns for Season 11, with Nick and Vanessa Lachey hosting. The experiment centers on singles who seek a relationship and become engaged before meeting face to face. Netflix’s schedule does not identify a city setting for this season.
Rank #2
October 15: political stakes in The Diplomat
The Diplomat returns for Season 4. Netflix’s description puts Kate Wyler in a high-stakes role as a US ambassador in the UK while her marriage to a political strategist is under strain. It’s the most serialized political-drama pick in this group.
October 16: a Wu-Tang Clan documentary
The Disciple tells a true story about an outsider working his way into Wu-Tang Clan’s inner circle. The description connects ambition and creativity with the making of an album; it does not establish an official soundtrack or product tie-in.
