Those tour dates have passed. Colwell has described addiction and mental-health struggles as part of his own history, and said he chose to seek rehabilitation about five years before a 2025 interview.
Who is 360?
360 is the stage name of Matt Colwell, a Melbourne-based rapper, according to PerthNow’s profile of him published on 12 July 2025. That profile traced his early chart success as well as the personal difficulties he later discussed publicly. PerthNow’s 2025 profile
What has 360 said about addiction and mental health?
Colwell has spoken in interviews about addiction and mental-health struggles in his own life. In the 2025 PerthNow interview, he recalled telling his parents he needed rehabilitation: “I spoke to my parents and just said, ‘look, I’ve got to go to rehab’. And that was five years ago.” That is his account of when he sought help, not an independently verified clinical history.
In a June 2026 interview with Surf Coast Times, Colwell said drug addiction had affected “probably most of my adult life” and linked the writing of Out of the Blue to a period when he began to turn a corner. He said, “So, the entire album is pretty much…I started writing it right when I started turning a corner.” He has also described renewed Christian faith as part of his personal change. These are accounts of his experience, not medical claims about recovery or treatment outcomes. Surf Coast Times, 5 June 2026
