Amal Clooney’s October 2025 haircut was a “power cut” that removed six to eight inches, according to her hairstylist, Dimitris Giannetos. His salon description was a décolletage-length shape with blunt ends and a few very long face-framing pieces; “bubble blowout” describes the polished styling associated with the look.
What is Amal Clooney’s “bubble blowout power cut”?
Giannetos called Clooney’s October 2025 haircut a “power cut.” In his interview with Vogue, he said, “I cut off between six and eight inches of hair,” and added, “Amal has never had a haircut like this before.” He described the result as “sophisticated and modern.”
The cut’s defining features are its décolletage-length outline, blunt ends and a few very long pieces around the face. Us Magazine reported that Clooney showed it at an event on October 6, 2025, describing the brunette hair as chest-length, with a side part and caramel highlights. “Chest-length” and “décolletage-length” are editorial descriptions, not measured lengths.

Vogue reported that the color had a brown base darkened for the change, with warmer, lighter face-framing pieces Giannetos called “toasted almond.” Us Magazine described caramel highlights. The names differ, but both accounts describe a brunette look with lighter, warmer pieces around the face.

The “bubble blowout” refers to the styled finish rather than a separate cut specification. Vogue’s general bob-styling guide discusses heated round brushes and blow-dry brushes for creating a bouncy blowout; it does not identify the tool used for Clooney’s hairstyle.
Vogue also reports that Giannetos uses L’Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Serum to help tame frizz and add shine. That is a stylist-associated option, not a required product or confirmation that he used it for Clooney’s October 2025 haircut.

Is this still Amal Clooney’s current hairstyle?
