When was Saga born, and when did MGK reveal her name?
The birth announcement and the name announcement were separate moments. In March 2025, MGK announced that he and Fox had welcomed a daughter, calling her “our little celestial seed.” ABC News reported that some readers took the phrase to be the baby’s name, but MGK later clarified that it was not.
On June 17, 2025, MGK posted a video of himself playing ukulele for the baby. Its caption gave her name as “Saga Blade Fox-Baker ❤️🔥.” ABC News reported that her face was outside the frame in the video. ABC News

Us Weekly reported that MGK described Saga as an “epic story” and connected the name with Nordic storytelling tradition. He said, “She is an epic story,” and, “That’s what saga means.” This is his stated explanation, not an independent etymological account. Us Weekly

What is public reporting not enough to establish?
