When were Evangeline and Elijah born?
A February 2026 family article from People, republished by Yahoo, reports Evangeline’s birth date as June 15, 2014, and Elijah’s as March 18, 2018: Yahoo’s republication of People’s report. These are reported dates rather than dates independently confirmed here through primary family announcements. On October 4, 2026, they correspond to ages 12 and 8, respectively; birth dates are less likely than ages to become outdated. In a June 2025 interview with HITS, Shepherd recalled a daughter answering an assumption that Shepherd had a husband: “She has a wife. I have a mommy and a mama.” The interview excerpt does not identify which daughter said it, so the remark should not be attributed to Evangeline or Elijah individually.
