Alan Ritchson said he was knocked unconscious while filming the Season 3 finale fight between Jack Reacher and Paulie. He recalled being slammed through a table and waking up a day and a half later—a personal account, not an independently verified medical timeline.
What Ritchson said happened
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, as relayed in a March 27, 2025 report, Ritchson described a stunt in which his co-star picked him up and slammed him through a table. Ritchson had wanted the camera to stay on his face during the shot.

“He slammed me through the table so hard, I went through it into the seventh circle of hell. And I woke up a day and a half later,” Ritchson said. The phrase is his colorful recollection; “a day and a half” is not a medically verified measurement of how long he remained unconscious.
Which fight was being filmed?
The stunt was part of the extended finale confrontation between Reacher, played by Ritchson, and Paulie Masserella, played by Olivier Richters. Skydance’s official series page lists both actors and their roles.

The fight reportedly took three weeks to film, according to the interview coverage. The precise date when the table stunt occurred is not established in the available reports. March 27, 2025, is the date of the entertainment report—not the confirmed date of the incident.
What is confirmed—and what is not
The available coverage attributes the account to Ritchson. It does not provide a diagnosis, treatment details, or independent medical confirmation of the duration he described. The reports also do not establish whether he received medical care or provide an official production incident account.

That distinction matters: a reported first-person account supports saying that Ritchson said he was knocked unconscious, but it does not establish a concussion, hospitalization, a recovery timeline, or a failure of safety procedures.
