A related “Helm’s Hammer” product listing at Fandango FanStore describes a 100-ounce bucket, but the available sources do not establish that it is the same item or production run as AMC’s original concession release. Neither an original AMC price nor current AMC availability is confirmed.
What is AMC’s War of the Rohirrim popcorn bucket?
It is a theatrical popcorn collectible themed to The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim, shaped like a hammer. ComingSoon reported that AMC’s version measured 27 inches long. That size and its connection to AMC are supported by contemporary coverage, rather than an accessible official AMC announcement for the hammer itself: ComingSoon’s report.
AMC’s official film page confirms the movie’s place in AMC’s catalog, but does not by itself verify the bucket’s dimensions or sale details. Time included the Rohirrim hammer among elaborate theater novelty buckets in a feature published November 26, 2024: Time’s feature.
What the Fandango listing says
Fandango FanStore lists a limited-edition “Helm’s Hammer” popcorn bucket. Its product details describe a 100-ounce capacity, a 10-by-5.6-inch head, and a 20-by-1.5-inch handle. The listing says the handle ships in three pieces inside the head and the bucket should be hand-washed. These are specifications for the Fandango-listed product; they do not independently establish that it is identical to AMC’s reported 27-inch concession item.

Check the live Fandango FanStore listing before relying on either.
How to assess a listing before buying
Because the sources do not establish that the Fandango item and AMC’s original release are the same SKU or run, check the listing itself rather than assuming every “Helm’s Hammer” listing is the theater-release collectible. Compare:

The available sources do not establish the original AMC price, current AMC inventory, production quantity, sales figures, or resale value for this exact hammer bucket. Time quotes AMC food and beverage product strategy director Rob Bennett saying “But we nailed it” while discussing the broader novelty-bucket design effort; the quote is not specifically about the War of the Rohirrim bucket.
