Ryan’s marriage and the family tensions
Ryan’s wife serves him divorce papers, bringing their strained marriage to a decisive point. The episode also continues the complicated family dynamics involving Blue, Ryan, Dixie and Don. Tell-Tale TV’s review highlights Cammie coordinating a route through debris so Taylor can reach the hospital, another thread connecting the disaster response to the characters’ personal lives.
Don’s lightning-strike cliffhanger
TVLine’s recap reports that the episode ends with Don struck by lightning and arriving at the hospital barely clinging to life. It is a cliffhanger, rather than a resolution to the episode’s family storyline.
