This is an editorial assessment, not an official ranking: the available sources do not provide comparable figures for earnings, audience reach, sales, or career impact. “Original” is also being used broadly here; the seven did not all join in the premiere season.
How this list defines success—and “original”
Dance Moms followed competitive dancers and their mothers. Lifetime’s official series description says, “Mothers urge their daughters to perform in the world of competitive dance.” Lifetime currently lists nine seasons and 241 episodes; those figures describe the series, not the cast members’ later achievements. Lifetime’s series page
There is no consistent public dataset in the cited sources for comparing the seven by net worth, sales, audience size, or career influence. This list therefore weighs the breadth and continuity of documented post-show work—screen roles, music, publishing, awards, and public-facing projects—without pretending those different milestones can be reduced to a score. The order is subjective, and the examples below are not a claim that one person is definitively more successful than another.
The word “original” needs a qualification because the cast changed across seasons. Lifetime’s retrospective places Chloe Lukasiak in seasons 1–4 and 7, Nia Sioux in seasons 1–7, and Mackenzie Ziegler in seasons 1–6. JoJo Siwa first appeared in season 4, rather than the premiere season. This is an editorial shortlist of early or prominent cast members, not a list of seven premiere-season dancers. Seven cast members with notable post-show work
1. Maddie Ziegler
Maddie’s post-show profile includes acting and authorship. Hulu describes her as an actress and author, while Lifetime includes her in its retrospective on former dancers. Those sources support a broad career description, but not claims about her earnings, audience figures, or a definitive “most famous” status. Hulu’s Dance Moms guide · Lifetime’s retrospective
2. JoJo Siwa
JoJo arrived in season 4, so she is not an original premiere-season dancer. Lifetime’s retrospective describes her later work with Nickelodeon and appearances on multiple television programs, evidence of a wide-ranging entertainment career after the show. Including her makes sense if “original” means an early, prominent cast member rather than someone present from the first episode. Lifetime’s retrospective

3. Mackenzie Ziegler
Mackenzie pursued music as well as television and web roles. Lifetime’s retrospective notes her single “It’s a Girl Party” and other music and screen work; Hulu also summarizes her music and acting. These examples establish multiple career directions, but do not by themselves establish lasting chart performance or comparative commercial success. Lifetime’s retrospective · Hulu’s guide
4. Chloe Lukasiak
Chloe’s documented milestones span recognition, screen work, and publishing. Lifetime says she received the first Teen Choice Choice Dancer award in 2015, appeared in screen projects, and published Girl on Pointe: Chloe’s Guide to Taking on the World. She appeared in seasons 1–4 and returned for season 7. Hulu later reports her Pepperdine graduation; that dated milestone is more reliable than assuming older present-tense education descriptions remain current. Lifetime’s retrospective · Hulu’s guide

5. Nia Sioux
Nia’s post-show work includes music releases, an off-Broadway role, a recurring role on The Bold and the Beautiful, and the hosting and producing project Dance With Nia, according to Lifetime. Hulu also reports her graduation from UCLA. Taken together, these are milestones across entertainment and education, not a numerical measure of fame. Lifetime’s retrospective · Hulu’s guide
6. Kendall Vertes
Hulu’s guide summarizes Kendall’s acting and music work after the series. That supports including her among the show’s prominent alumni, though the cited material offers fewer career specifics than it does for several others on this list. Hulu’s guide

7. Brooke Hyland
Brooke’s post-show path is less extensively documented in the sources cited here. Hulu reports that she graduated from Ohio University, providing a clear later-life milestone, but that is not directly comparable to an award, acting role, or music release. Her inclusion reflects her prominence on the series; the available examples do not support a stronger claim about relative entertainment-industry success. Hulu’s guide

The cast members followed different routes: some built acting and music credits, some added books or awards, and others pursued education alongside their public work. A degree, a one-time award, and a television role each document something different. Without comparable figures across the group, ordering them can only be an editorial judgment about the range and visibility of the milestones available—not a verified league table.
