What to watch, depending on your mood
For a crime-drama binge: Mayor of Kingstown
Arriving October 5, Mayor of Kingstown follows the McLusky family in Kingstown, Michigan, a place where incarceration is a major part of the local economy. Netflix lists seasons 1–4, making this the week’s clearest choice if you want several seasons of scripted crime drama rather than a short new series.
For football, school rivalries, and an ongoing story: All American
Season 8 of All American arrives October 6. The teen drama begins with a South Los Angeles football player recruited to Beverly Hills High, setting up clashes across neighborhoods, school life, and rivalries. Choose it if you want a returning sports-and-school story rather than a self-contained thriller.

Netflix says original shows and movies are typically released globally at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time. That is general guidance, not a guarantee for every title: some series follow weekly episode or original-broadcast schedules, and a title may be a Netflix original in one country but not another.
