Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsIf you’re looking beyond the biggest Netflix hits, a March 2024 BGR list of underrated series and films offers a varied starting point: international dramas, crime stories, documentaries, reality competition, animation, and thrillers. “Underrated” is an editorial label, not a measured ranking—and the list’s “right now” wording is dated, so check your local Netflix catalog before settling on a title.
What the list is—and what “underrated” means
The recommendations come from Andy Meek’s BGR article, updated March 18, 2024. It treats hidden gems as worthwhile titles that may be overlooked in Netflix’s large catalog. The article does not establish a ranking, ratings method, or audience data, so the selections are best read as discovery suggestions rather than an objective “best of” list.

How to pick—and check availability
- Decide on format. Choose a film if you want a single feature, or a series if you’re in the mood for episodes. The source names three films and eleven series in the excerpt available.
- Choose a genre. The examples span international drama, crime, sports documentary, reality competition, animation, and thrillers. The article offers variety, not a taste-based ranking.
- Search Netflix in your country. The BGR article was updated on March 18, 2024; it does not establish present-day availability in any particular region. Streaming rights can vary by country and change over time, so search the title in your own Netflix catalog before planning to watch.
