How Eddie and Vickie met
1. A friend arranged their blind date

2. They met at a club
Vickie recalled meeting Eddie at a club. She remembered his long hair, cowboy boots, tight jeans and muscular build, and said she decided to stay with him that night.
3. Their first night together ran late

13. Vickie’s romance angle with Edge was fictional
Vickie later played an on-screen authority figure and manager in WWE, where storylines included a romance angle with Edge. That was scripted character material; it is not evidence about her private relationship with Eddie. WWE’s 2008 feature “Family ties” describes the fictional alliances and character relationships of that period.
14. Vickie hoped Eddie would be proud of her career
In a 2012 interview with the Los Angeles Times, Vickie reflected on her WWE success and said, “I’m hoping he would be proud of me, and I’m sure we’d laugh a lot.” She also described learning small expressions and performance cues by watching him. It was a later reflection on his influence, not a claim that he witnessed her subsequent career.
15. WWE has publicly memorialized Eddie and Vickie’s bond
WWE identifies Eddie as a 2006 Hall of Fame inductee and describes Vickie as his widow in her official profile. The company also published a WrestleMania XXVI tribute video titled “Vickie Guerrero pays tribute to her husband Eddie Guerrero.” These records establish how WWE has publicly framed their connection; the personal memories above remain Vickie’s accounts.
