1000-lb Sisters Season 7 is a completed, nine-episode season. What happened after Season 7?
Season announcements and episode listings can make the timeline confusing. TLC announced Season 8 on December 2, 2025, with a planned January 6, 2026 premiere at 9/8c. The network described that season’s promoted storylines as Amy’s wedding plans and Tammy’s post-surgery independence, volunteering, and plans to move in with Andrea. For the later season, a July 20, 2026 TLC/Warner Bros. Discovery schedule announcement said 1000-lb Sisters would return September 1, 2026, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. As of October 4, 2026, TLC’s series page lists Season 9 episodes and displays the banner “Premieres Tuesday, September 1 at 9P.” The year and season attached to that banner are understood from the dated schedule announcement and the Season 9 episode list, rather than from the banner text alone.
