Kane is the leader in WWE’s published historical count: the company said he had competed in seven Money in the Bank Ladder Matches. In the same historical snapshot, Christian and Kofi Kingston were tied at six appearances. Those figures are not a verified current top ten: WWE’s available pages do not provide a complete, up-to-date appearance ledger, so naming ten wrestlers with exact totals would overstate what the records establish.
What the published appearance counts show
WWE’s historical statistics page reported Kane at seven appearances, describing him as having competed in more Money in the Bank Ladder Matches than anyone. The same page identified Christian and Kofi Kingston as tied at six appearances without a win. These are counts from that page’s publication period, not confirmed lifetime totals as of today. WWE’s historical statistics
| Wrestler | Published count | What the figure establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Kane | 7 appearances | WWE’s historical leader in the article’s snapshot. |
| Christian | 6 appearances | Tied with Kofi Kingston in the same snapshot; listed without a win. |
| Kofi Kingston | 6 appearances | Tied with Christian in the same snapshot; listed without a win. |
Why a definitive current top ten cannot be established here
A ranking of ten requires a verified total for every contender, counted under the same rule. The available official pages provide selected historical counts and individual milestones, but not a complete year-by-year participant list. They therefore do not substantiate the full current top ten or the exact totals for the remaining positions.
The dated figures also demonstrate why a snapshot should not be treated as a live record: an earlier WWE statistics article counted Christian and Shelton Benjamin at five appearances each, while the later snapshot counted Christian at six. The earlier article is useful context, not evidence of a current ranking. WWE’s earlier statistics article

How to count Money in the Bank appearances
A sound ranking counts each wrestler once for every Money in the Bank Ladder Match they actually competed in. Qualification or being named as a potential entrant is not an appearance; participation in the match is. The count should cover men’s and women’s matches and matches held outside the annual standalone event, while matching ring names to the same person.
For example, WWE’s 2024 preview identified Jey Uso as a first-time entrant and Andrade as a second-time entrant at that point. Those are individual milestones for that date, not a complete career tally or evidence of a top-ten position. WWE’s 2024 men’s match preview

Recent matches do not fill in the historical ledger
WWE’s results for the completed 2025 event list six entrants in each of the men’s and women’s ladder matches. Seth Rollins won the men’s match, which WWE said made him the second male wrestler to win the match twice. These results confirm those participants and that milestone, but they do not add up every wrestler’s appearances across all years. WWE’s 2025 results

WWE dates the match concept to 2005, when it debuted at WrestleMania 21, and says its popularity led to a standalone pay-per-view in 2010. That history helps explain why appearances span both WrestleMania-era matches and later annual events; it does not, by itself, establish any wrestler’s total. WWE’s history and statistics
