As of 4 October 2026, the next anime to watch range from October premieres to series scheduled as far ahead as October 2027. This guide separates exact Japanese broadcast dates from month- or year-only windows, and flags one adaptation that has been announced without a release window. Dates can change; check the latest official schedule and your local streaming catalogue before planning a watch.

Official listings vary in detail: TV Tokyo gives Japanese airtimes for some titles, while Shonen Jump and TOHO provide month- or year-level windows for others. The dates and status distinctions come from Shonen Jump’s media and event information, TV Tokyo’s anime broadcast decision list, and TOHO’s anime releases lineup and anime news.
October 2026: the nearest scheduled premieres
Black Clover 2nd Season
Shonen Jump lists the season for October 2026, and Crunchyroll includes Black Clover in its Fall 2026 lineup announcement. Those sources support an October window and a named service lineup, but not an exact premiere day or availability in every country. Check the local catalogue for the listing and release time.

Yozakura Family Season 2, Part 2
The official Shonen Jump listing gives an October 2026 broadcast window without a day. Treat it as a month-level schedule, rather than inferring a premiere date or international simulcast.
Diamond no Ace act II -Second Season-
TV Tokyo lists a start on Sunday, 11 October 2026, at 5:30 p.m. on TV Tokyo-affiliated networks in Japan. That is useful for viewers following the Japanese broadcast; it is not evidence of an overseas release at the same time.
Rank #2
Magical Girl Raising Project restart
TV Tokyo lists an October 2026 start and a Monday late-night slot from 5 October. As with the baseball series, the broadcaster information concerns Japan. Confirm the latest slot and any international distribution listing if watching outside Japan.
Early 2027: January through April
Akane-banashi Season 2
Shonen Jump lists a January 2027 broadcast, but the cited entry gives no exact day, broadcaster, or overseas service. It is a clear month-level window, not a complete viewing schedule.

Rank #3
The One Piece
Shonen Jump lists a February 2027 streaming window. The listing does not name a platform or territory, so avoid treating “streaming” as confirmation of a particular service in your country.
Kagurabachi
The listed window is April 2027. The official entry does not specify an exact day or international distribution details, so viewers should wait for a more specific schedule before expecting a local premiere.
Rank #4
Later in 2027: two returners with longer horizons
Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf Season 2
TOHO’s lineup schedules the second season for 2027, without a month or exact date. It belongs on a longer-range watchlist rather than among the firmly dated next premieres.
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 3
TOHO lists an October 2027 start. The month provides a more specific window than a year-only announcement, but no exact premiere day or international platform is established in that listing.

Announced, but not yet schedulable
Phantom Busters
TOHO’s anime news listing records the adaptation announcement on 24 September 2026, but the inspected listing does not give a broadcast window. It is a confirmed announcement, not a dated premiere; keep it on a watchlist and wait for scheduling and distribution details.
How to use these dates when planning what to watch
- For the nearest specific appointment: Diamond no Ace act II -Second Season- has the clearest exact Japanese broadcast date and time in the listed schedules.
- For an October-month shortlist: Black Clover 2nd Season and Yozakura Family Season 2, Part 2 have October windows; Magical Girl Raising Project restart has a TV Tokyo late-night slot beginning 5 October.
- For a named streaming-lineup clue: Crunchyroll’s Fall 2026 announcement includes Black Clover. That announcement does not prove every region’s catalogue, subtitles, dub availability, or release timing.
- For longer-range planning: Use the month or year actually stated, and do not turn a year-only window into a guessed season or date.
- For international viewing: A Japanese TV schedule is not a simultaneous global release notice. Check the streaming service’s local catalogue title by title.
Calendar checks matter: TOHO lists The Apothecary Diaries Season 3 as beginning 2 October 2026, so it had already started by the 4 October snapshot date and is not included here as an upcoming show. The ten selections are a release-planning guide, not a claim about critical quality or measurable audience popularity; the cited official schedule pages do not provide comparable audience data.
