Spoilers for “Eurydice,” Tracker Season 3, Episode 8. A year after Aubrey disappears, Colter Shaw follows the return of her bloodied dress from a small-town accusation toward a family secret. CBS lists the episode as a 41-minute, TV-14 installment that originally aired December 7, 2025.
Why Sierra asks Colter for help
The episode begins with Aubrey’s disappearance, then moves ahead one year to Juliet, North Carolina. Sierra contacts Colter after Aubrey’s favorite dress turns up on an outdoor clothesline, torn, dirty, and stained with blood. The dress is a grim new clue—and a reason to reopen a case that has left the town convinced Sierra harmed her daughter.

Sierra’s history gives that suspicion an easy explanation: she says she was drunk the night Aubrey vanished, and blood was found in the house. She has been sober for ten months, but that recovery has not changed how the community sees her. Colter listens to her account while making clear that the police need to be involved.
How the dress leads Colter to the Flint family
Rather than accept the town’s conclusion, Colter examines the scene around the dress. A smudge on a fence and fresh bicycle tracks point toward someone who came and went recently. Security footage shows a rider who appears to be a boy wearing a Captain Calabash restaurant hoodie.

The trail leads to Spencer Flint. He says he found the dress in his yard and suspects his father, Trevor. Colter investigates a shed and learns Trevor has a history of violence. When Colter confronts him, Trevor tries to flee. Police then find signs connecting Aubrey and her uncle Derek to the shed, shifting the search toward Derek.
The shoreline discovery changes the case
Colter’s search for Derek brings him to the shoreline, where a crab trap contains a skeleton believed to be Derek’s. The discovery widens the case beyond the Flints and directs Colter toward the land’s ownership. He traces it to Blue Creek Holdings, a trust associated with Arthur Poness, the former lead detective on Aubrey’s disappearance.

Who has been keeping Aubrey?
At Arthur’s home, Colter finds evidence that Arthur and his wife, Iris, have been caring for Aubrey. Sierra confirms that Arthur’s late son, Jason, was Aubrey’s father: Arthur and Iris are her grandparents.
Arthur says he believed Aubrey was in danger and took her after learning Derek had her. That explanation supplies a motive, not an excuse. Arthur and Iris kept a child from her mother, while the circumstances around the disappearance helped leave Sierra under suspicion. The episode allows the adults’ motives to be complicated without making the consequences disappear.

How “Eurydice” resolves Aubrey’s disappearance
Aubrey is reunited with Sierra. The reunion answers the central question of where she has been, but it does not neatly settle the damage caused by the kidnapping, the false suspicion, or the family’s choices. Colter’s line, “I suppose sometimes people do the wrong things for the right reasons,” captures that tension without absolving anyone.
The episode also treats Sierra’s sobriety as a process rather than a convenient proof of innocence or a tidy redemption. Reenie puts it plainly: “I’ve seen a lot in my line of work, some I wish I hadn’t, and one thing that I know for sure: recovery is not linear.”
