Streaming on Bilibili alone does not establish that the company produced a series. This editorial shortlist highlights 10 notable anime with documented Bilibili involvement; it is not an official ranking, and “produced” does not necessarily mean Bilibili’s own staff animated the work.
How Bilibili’s production credits work
Bilibili’s 2021 Form 20-F distinguishes original content it produces, jointly produces and licenses. Those are different relationships: a commissioned title may be made by an outside studio, while a licensed title may simply be available to stream. The company’s 2021 filing counted more than 130 Chinese anime titles as self-produced or co-produced from 2019 through 2021, a historical figure for that three-year period (Bilibili 2021 Form 20-F).

The selection below uses announced credits and documented involvement, not a common quality score. The order is editorial, not a ranking by Bilibili or an independent measure of which series is “best.”
10 anime with documented Bilibili involvement
1. Heaven Official’s Blessing
Bilibili described Heaven Official’s Blessing as a Bilibili-produced anime adapted from popular Chinese fantasy novels. The company said in its November 2021 announcement that the series had been introduced to Funimation and Netflix; that is historical platform information, not a guarantee of current availability (Bilibili’s 2021 announcement).
#1 Best Overall
For readers who want to follow the story beyond the screen, the natural starting point is the novel behind Heaven Official’s Blessing. Check the edition and market availability before buying.
2. Link Click
Bilibili also identified Link Click as a Bilibili-produced anime. Its September 2023 announcement noted that an English dub had appeared on Crunchyroll in 2022 and described the series as popular with international audiences—claims tied to the company’s announcement, not a current availability guide (Bilibili’s 2021 announcement; Bilibili’s 2023 announcement).
Rank #2
3. The Daily Life of the Immortal King
This fantasy comedy was part of Bilibili’s own slate: in 2021, the company announced a third season and reported that the series had passed 500 million views. That number is Bilibili’s figure from the 2021 announcement, not a current total (Bilibili’s 2021 announcement).
4. Fairies Albums
Bilibili announced a third season of Fairies Albums in 2021 and reported more than 200 million views at the time. A later company announcement also referred to production collaboration with international partners. Those credits point to collaboration, not necessarily an in-house animation team (Bilibili’s 2021 announcement; Bilibili’s 2023 announcement).
Rank #3
5. Yao–Chinese Folktales
Yao–Chinese Folktales is an original animation co-produced by Bilibili and Shanghai Animation Film Studio. Its eight stories draw inspiration from Chinese cultural folklore. In 2023, Bilibili reported 290 million views and more than 18,000 fan creations; these are historical company-reported figures (Bilibili’s 2023 announcement).
6. My Three-Body
My Three-Body has an unusual route from fan work to formal production. Bilibili says the adaptation began as fan-made animation uploaded to its platform. The Three-Body IP rightsholder and Bilibili then initiated development and production. That origin makes it a particularly clear example of the platform’s role extending beyond distribution (Bilibili’s 2023 announcement).
Rank #4
7. To Be Hero X
Bilibili identifies To Be Hero X as a co-production with Aniplex and describes its visual approach as a mix of 2D and 3D animation. “Co-produced” is the supported credit; it does not mean Bilibili alone made the series (Bilibili’s 2023 announcement).
8. The Three-Body Problem
Bilibili announced that it commissioned YHKT Entertainment to produce The Three-Body Problem, with authorization from Three-Body Universe. This is a commissioned production relationship: the announcement names an outside studio as producer rather than establishing that Bilibili animated the show in-house (Bilibili’s 2021 announcement).

9. Incarnation
The 2019 Bilibili announcement names YHKT Entertainment as the producer of Incarnation and says the title launched on Bilibili in 2018. It also describes the studio’s prior work with the platform. The distinction matters: the available credit supports a studio-produced series with a Bilibili platform relationship, not an in-house animation credit (Bilibili’s 2021 announcement).
10. The Ravages of Time
Bilibili’s 2019 announcement says The Ravages of Time was commissioned by Bilibili and iDreamSky Entertainment and would be produced by ZhuoHua Entertainment. The credit makes Bilibili a commissioning partner, with ZhuoHua named as the producing studio (Bilibili’s 2021 announcement).

Bilibili’s 2026 ESG report says that by the end of 2025 the company had cumulatively produced over 250 Chinese original animation titles, and had distributed 177 original Chinese anime titles overseas. It reports subtitling in 15 languages and dubbing in 11. These are portfolio-wide figures, not counts or localization details for the 10 titles above (Bilibili’s ESG report).
The company’s stated ambition to take Chinese anime beyond its domestic market is captured in this line from COO Carly Lee’s 2021 announcement: “Anime is the art of imagination, and the love of imagination is shared by humankind.” It is Bilibili’s own viewpoint, not an independent assessment of any individual series (Bilibili’s 2021 announcement).
How to check where a title is streaming
Availability changes by region and over time. Bilibili’s official anime catalog is useful for checking what it currently lists, but it includes licensed titles too; a catalog listing is not proof of a production credit (Bilibili anime catalog).
