Watch the official Season 2 teaser
Watch Netflix’s official Wednesday Season 2 teaser, released April 23, 2025. Netflix presented it as the season’s first official teaser and announced that the series would stream exclusively on Netflix.
What the first look previews
The teaser sets up Wednesday’s return to Nevermore as a situation she expects to manage, then signals that events will surprise her. It is an advance glimpse, not a full plot synopsis. In Netflix Tudum’s first-look coverage, co-creator Miles Millar summed up the season this way: “Nothing is what it seems in Season 2.”
The preview’s appeal is its contrast between Wednesday’s confidence and the suggestion that she will face circumstances she cannot control. It establishes the season’s tone and broad premise without laying out the story’s developments.

Netflix’s reported Season 2 campaign figures
In a 2025 campaign report, Netflix said its owned social activity generated 3 billion impressions and that the Season 2 trailer received more than 236 million impressions and 169 million views. These are figures reported by Netflix, not independently verified measurements. The same report named Booking.com the official title sponsor for Season 2 on Netflix’s ad-supported plan and described a show-inspired travel campaign; that sponsorship is a marketing tie-in, not an offer to book travel.
