Kyle wins individual immunity, while Rome’s effort to redirect the vote toward Sol fails.
Who was voted off Survivor 47 episode 6?
Rome Cooney was eliminated. Reality Blurred reports the Tribal Council tally as Rome 9, Andy 2, and Sam 1. Andy, Caroline, and Teeny played their amulets for Teeny; the vote still sent Rome home. From Rome’s perspective, the result is a blindside: he speaks confidently about the vote and blindsides before the ballots are read, while the group’s plan is directed at him. Reality Blurred’s Tribal Council recap details the tally and amulet play.

What happened at the Survivor 47 merge?
“Feel the FOMO” brings the castaways together on one beach, but it is an Earn the Merge sequence, not a simple, settled merge. The players first compete in teams. The winning group earns a food reward and the opportunity to compete for individual immunity. Genevieve finds an advantage that lets her skip the team phase and enter the individual contest. CBS’s episode listing describes the gathering, advantage hunt, and first individual immunity contest of the season; Inside Survivor’s recap covers the challenge sequence.
Who won immunity in “Feel the FOMO”?
Kyle won the individual immunity necklace. His win removes him from the vote and narrows the available targets, giving the strategic conversations a sharper focus.
#1 Best Overall
Why did Rome become the target?
Rome’s information-sharing does not rebuild trust. He tells others about Kyle’s targets, but the move contributes to suspicion around him rather than giving him control of the vote. At the feast, Rome is the leading target and Andy is discussed as a backup. Rome tries to shift attention to Sol, while the opposition to Rome continues to organize. Sue’s idol also factors into the social picture: red paint traces left by the idol lead Caroline and Tiyana to infer that Sue has one. Inside Survivor recounts these conversations and clues.
What the vote reveals about the players’ positions
The episode’s strategic picture is clearer when viewed through four questions: who is protected, who can shape the target, whose information is trusted, and who remains exposed as a backup.
Rank #2
- Immunity: Kyle’s necklace makes him unavailable as a target.
- Target control: Rome attempts to move the vote to Sol, but the plan taking shape remains centered on Rome.
- Information: Rome’s account of Kyle’s targets does not repair his credibility with the group.
- Backup exposure: Andy’s name is floated as an alternative, implicating Sam and Sierra in the backup discussion and alerting Andy that he could be used as a decoy.
True Dork Times reads the outcome as an unusual opportunity for players near the bottom of their original tribe structures to influence the result. That is an interpretation of the vote’s dynamics, rather than a settled explanation shared by every player. True Dork Times’ episode analysis sets out that reading.
