What happens in “Flipping the Win Switch”?
In Season 47, Episode 11, the castaways have been in the game for 20 days. A classic immunity challenge offers its winner a place in the final seven. Rachel beats Kyle, leaving him vulnerable at Tribal Council. CBS lists the episode at 64 minutes and rates it TV-PG L.
Why is Kyle voted out?
TVLine and Inside Survivor frame Kyle as a conspicuous challenge threat whose continued run could make him harder to eliminate later. Their recaps also describe his social connections as weaker than those of other players. Those are the writers’ interpretations of the vote, not a stated consensus from the castaways.
At Tribal Council, Kyle says the players could still create “a crowd pleasing moment,” as TVLine reproduces it. The vote sends him home 6–1–1, according to Gordon Holmes’s exit-interview coverage. The recaps characterize the decision as close to unanimous.

How many people does Kyle hug on his way out?
He hugs the other players as he leaves. Gordon Holmes reports that Kyle hugged everyone, while Inside Survivor describes the farewell as a “hero’s exit of hugs and cheers.” Reality Blurred also reports that he hugged Jeff Probst and camera operators after his torch was snuffed.
Reality Blurred then jokes that Kyle might thank the bats and bugs, explicitly marking that as “I kid.” That is comic embellishment, not part of the reported footage. The real goodbye is warm enough without adding imaginary animal hugs.
