A reported Survivor 46 deleted scene shows Liz Wilcox asking to be considered for the Applebee’s reward before the challenge—not just reacting after Q Burdette chose other players. Dalton Ross’s May 2, 2024 report says Liz connected the meal to scarce food and allergies on the island, as well as a weekly Applebee’s-and-Survivor ritual with her daughter. Those details come from the report’s description of the scene; the episode itself did not include them.
What the deleted scene reportedly adds
In Dalton Ross’s May 2, 2024 report, the scene begins after tree mail suggests there will be a reward. Liz explains that her food allergies and limited food options on the island have been affecting her, and says the reward could help her physically and emotionally. She then asks her tribemates to keep her in mind if they win.
The report says Liz also described Applebee’s as part of a Wednesday-night routine with her daughter: they would eat there and watch Survivor. The Yahoo-hosted reproduction could not be opened for direct verification, so these scene details should be understood as Ross’s reported description, not as independently confirmed viewing of the video.
What aired in episode 10
CBS lists season 46, episode 10 as “Run the Red Light,” which aired May 1, 2024. Its synopsis says castaways compete for the season’s biggest reward and that an outburst after the challenge could shift the week’s target. The synopsis does not name Liz, Q, or Applebee’s. CBS’s season guide confirms the episode’s date and broad context, rather than the deleted scene’s particulars.

The key difference is timing: the reported deleted material puts Liz’s request and reasons before the challenge. The aired story showed her reaction after Q selected Tiffany Ervin, Maria Gonzalez, and Kenzie Petty for the reward.
What happened when Q didn’t pick Liz
In a May 2, 2024 TVLine interview, Tiffany Ervin said Maria and Kenzie offered to give up their spots for Liz, but Q declined. Ervin recalled feeling unsure what to do and called the moment “awkward as hell.” That is a contestant’s account after the episode aired, not official production documentation.

The reported request makes the later confrontation more legible without making Q’s decision less consequential. Liz had asked in advance; after Q won, he selected other players, and the reward rules left the choice with him.

An Inside Survivor recap of Jeff Probst’s May 8, 2024 On Fire podcast comments reports that an Applebee’s chef was flown to Fiji with what was needed to prepare the meal.
