Why was Tiyana voted out?
Tiyana tried to shift the target onto Gabe, but TVLine reports that the vote went against her unanimously. Her attempted redirect did not change the outcome, and she left the game.
The episode’s blindside was the contrast between Tiyana’s effort to alter the target and the final result. The available episode accounts establish the challenge’s safety split and her elimination; they do not establish private motives beyond those reported events.

What changed after the vote?
The challenge separated the castaways who could be targeted from those who could not, and Tiyana’s exit showed that a proposed alternative target was not enough to save her.
