That was a change to scheduled television reruns—not evidence of a permanent removal from every platform. Reports at the time said the episode remained available on demand and on Paramount+, but its current streaming status and the network’s reason for the schedule change have not been established.
Which South Park episode featured Charlie Kirk?
The episode was “Got a Nut,” which premiered August 6, 2025. In its plot, Clyde starts a provocative campus-debate podcast, then Cartman takes it over and adopts a look and style modeled on Kirk. The story also features a “Charlie Kirk Award for Young Master Debaters.” Variety’s episode coverage describes the parody and premiere date.
What changed after Kirk was killed?
Kirk was fatally shot at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, on September 10, 2025, ABC News reported. In the hours that followed, Comedy Central’s scheduled rerun was switched or pulled. ABC News and Variety reported that the episode would no longer air in the network’s rerun rotation; both also said it remained available on demand or through Paramount+ at that time.
The distinction matters: the reports described a change to linear television scheduling, not a confirmed permanent takedown from all services. The streaming information is a snapshot from September 2025, not confirmation of present-day availability. ABC News and Variety covered the initial change.

Did Kirk object to the parody?
No. The contemporaneous coverage described his reaction as positive. Before the episode aired, Kirk called the parody a “badge of honor” and said, “We as conservatives need to be able to take a joke. We shouldn’t take ourselves so seriously,” Variety reported. After its release, he called the episode “hilarious” in a TikTok video, according to ABC News.
What did Kirk’s show say about making the episode available again?
On September 19, 2025, the Los Angeles Times reported that Andrew Kolvet, executive producer of The Charlie Kirk Show, said Kirk “loved that he was featured in ‘South Park’” and “would want the episode back up.” The Times said Paramount had not immediately responded to its request for comment. Kolvet’s remarks conveyed his view of Kirk’s wishes; they were not an explanation from Paramount for the schedule change or confirmation that the episode had returned to any platform. The Los Angeles Times report has the details.

Why did Comedy Central change the rerun schedule?
The cited contemporaneous reports do not establish Comedy Central’s or Paramount’s reason. No official explanation is confirmed in the reporting cited here.
