In The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3, episode 6, Belly misremembers who found Rosie: she credits Jeremiah, but Conrad was the one who found the dog—and, Jeremiah confirms, cried when Rosie was returned to her owners. That small correction unsettles Belly as her wedding to Jeremiah approaches. The episode is officially titled “Last Name”; “When Jere met Rosie” is a recap framing, not its title.
Episode 6 details

What happens in “Last Name”
Wedding preparations leave Belly feeling out of place
Belly stays at Adam’s place as wedding and apartment pressures build. Jeremiah’s strained relationship with his father adds to the tension. The story then shifts to Belly’s bridal shower, where Laurel’s presence matters deeply to her.
Who found Rosie?
At the shower, Belly is asked about Jeremiah’s first pet. She recalls Rosie and says Jeremiah found the dog. Steven corrects her: Conrad found Rosie. Jeremiah later confirms that Conrad found her and cried when Rosie was returned to her owners.

The episode’s key question—“who found Rosie?”—has a clear answer: Conrad. The correction matters to Belly because she thought she remembered this detail about her fiancé. Her reaction is less about the dog than about the possibility that her memory, and her sense of how well she knows Jeremiah, may not be as reliable as she assumed.
Conrad’s injury adds another charged moment
Conrad injures his leg surfing, and Belly tends to the wound. The scene ends in a near-kiss moment that leaves her unsettled. It heightens the romantic uncertainty, but it does not settle what Belly will do or resolve the triangle.

Taylor and Steven face their own tension
Taylor and Steven’s relationship remains strained, while Steven considers a possible business collaboration with Denise. These threads widen the episode beyond Belly’s wedding and the memory of Rosie.
Why the Rosie correction shakes Belly
Rosie becomes a test of what Belly thinks she knows. She had placed Jeremiah in a memory that actually belonged to Conrad, and Jeremiah’s confirmation gives the error emotional weight. The moment invites doubt about Belly’s assumptions, but it is not proof by itself that she should not marry Jeremiah or that she belongs with Conrad.

That distinction matters alongside the surf-injury scene. Belly and Conrad share a charged moment, yet the episode presents uncertainty rather than a decision. The Rosie memory and near-kiss complicate Belly’s feelings; neither one alone answers the larger question of whom she should choose.
