“Babymoon,” the November 16, 2024, Saturday Night Live sketch hosted by Charli XCX, brought Marcello Hernández back as Domingo. The musical parody sets the friends’ account of Kelsey’s babymoon to Chappell Roan’s “HOT TO GO!”—and once again makes Domingo the revealing center of her romantic life.
What happens in the “Babymoon” sketch?
Kelsey’s friends gather around her babymoon story and turn it into a group musical account. As in the earlier Domingo sketch, the friends’ performance lets the audience in on Kelsey’s connection to him. This time, the gathering shifts from a bachelorette celebration to a babymoon and baby-shower setting.
The sketch aired during Charli XCX’s November 16, 2024, episode of Saturday Night Live. Charli plays Kelsey’s cousin, while Marcello Hernández returns as Domingo.
How does it connect to the original Domingo sketch?
Domingo first appeared in “Bridesmaid Speech,” which debuted on October 12, 2024. About five weeks later, “Babymoon” brought the character back and carried forward the central joke: Kelsey’s friends’ lyrics reveal her tie to Domingo. The setting and song change, but the friends’ role as the tellers of Kelsey’s story links the two sketches.

Why is “HOT TO GO!” part of the parody?
The sketch uses Chappell Roan’s “HOT TO GO!” as its musical basis. The song gives the friends’ group account a recognizable pop framework, while their performance advances the Domingo storyline. The parody connection is to Roan’s song—not to a separate SNL release of the music.
